Folk Music Fridays – “Long Hot Summer Days”

On any given day you’ll be likely to find us listening to this song on Sara Watkin’s CD. On repeat. Over and over again. For more than an hour – all day if L had anything to say about it. She absolutely adores this song.  So much so, in fact, that if we listen to Sara’s CD and any other song is playing she is adamant that the “wrong song” is playing. She’ll dance around the living room while listening which in and of itself is pretty darn cute.

  1. Wow – love it! Never heard of her…have to see what iTunes has! 🙂

    • I’m glad you liked it! :0) She has her own CD out, but she was also a part of Nickel Creek (which is still playing together, but taking a break…whatever that means) and has been involved somewhat with Works Progress Administration (www.wpamusic.com).
