Backyard Bird Grand Central Station

We put a bird feeder out for Mabon. We’ve struggled to find on that is both child and squirrel proof because we have both in clever abundance. There were a few birds yesterday, but today it’s like Grand Central Station and I’m wondering if we’ll need to hire an air traffic controller soon.

Most of the birds we’ve seen around here before, but today we saw a Cedar Waxwing for the first time with its squared tail end and accompanying yellow stripe as well as the neat black mask on its face.
